2017 Domaine Serene, Triple Crown Vineyard Chardonnay, Dundee Hills, Oregon

This vineyard was planted in 2014 and was named Triple Crown to commemorate the fact that it is the third Domaine Serene estate vineyard located high atop the Dundee Hills. This picturesque site now ranks as one of Domaine Serene’s highest in elevation and features Dijon clone Chardonnay in deep Jory soils.

Tasting Notes

Attractive notes of mandarin blossom, juicy citrus, and tropical fruit dance on the nose, with galangal and ginger spices accenting this exotic bouquet. The palate is fleshy and ripe, with brightness and minerality extending through a clean and lengthy finish.
