2019 Maison Evenstad, Meursault Chardonnay

APPELLATION AND VINEYARDS 
The hard Comblanchien limestone which disappears deep underground around Nuits- Saint-Georges resurfaces in Meursault, whereas one moves southward Pinot Noir gives way to Chardonnay. Nowhere in the Côte de Beaune does the Chardonnay grape fare so well as in this appellation.
