The Gold Eagle Vineyard is located on the east facing slope of the Evenstad Estate in the Dundee Hills next to the Grace vineyard. Gold Eagle is our only vineyard planted with north, south, east and west row orientation. The vineyard is planted exclusively to Pommard and Dijon Clones.

Tasting Notes:

On approach, your senses are met with an enticing bouquet of earthy plum and leather intertwined with notes of green tea and fennel. The palate is wound tight, but releases in the glass exposing dark fruits layered overtones of violets and tea. The mouthfeel is rich with silky tannins giving way to a long beautiful finish. Noted as a Cellar Selection upon release by our winemaking team, this wine is approachable now but should evolve beautifully with additional time in the bottle.
