2018 Domaine Serene, 'Coeur Blanc' White Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, Oregon

Our Coeur Blanc is a special and limited production white wine made from fully mature Pinot Noir grapes. At harvest, 100% estate grown Pinot Noir grapes from selected vineyard blocks are handpicked and carefully sorted. The grapes are then gently whole-cluster pressed, limiting contact with the grape skins so that only the purest essence, or “white heart” juice is expressed. The resulting juice is barrel fermented in French oak and then aged on the lees prior to bottling.

This release of Coeur Blanc possesses one of the most alluring bouquets we have ever seen. Evoking white plum, white peach and hibiscus, it is nearly impossible to resist the pull of these aromatics. Electric with tension and popping with vibrance, the 2018 Coeur Blanc will pair extraordinarily well with a variety of dishes, including herbaceous summer salads like tuna niçoise, as well as more savory dishes from caviar to grilled cheese. The true unicorn of our portfolio, it is at once rare and extraordinary.
