2018 Château de la Crée, Volnay Premier Cru Clos des Angles Pinot Noir

The name of the "Clos des Angles" parcel, located at the border with Pommard appellation, refers to its "angles" as it is a triangle-shaped parcel. This vineyard has a gentle slope and benefits from an eastern exposure with an elevation of 820 feet. The soil has a high proportion of small gravel and clay, gifting us with even grape ripeness each vintage. This vineyard is a genuine gem within the Volnay appellation.
