2014 Domaine Serene, ‘Aspect’ Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, Oregon
Crowning the southernmost peak of the Dundee Hills, the magical Evenstad Estate is one of the most outstanding sites in the world for growing distinctive Pinot Noir. Dry-farmed on Jory soil at elevations ranging from 520 to 825 feet, its seven individual vineyard blocks have multiple exposures and produce some of our most prized wines, including Mark Bradford, Grace, and Côte Sud. We crafted this unique blend to exemplify the terroir synergy possible from diverse aspects of soil, elevation, orientation and clonal selection found within one remarkable vineyard estate

Tasting Notes:
An inaugural release of a blend of three of our premier vineyards, the 2014 Aspect Pinot Noir is extremely expressive. Layer upon layer of complex aromas fill the air with dark cherry, mushroom, and allspice. The mouthfeel is opulent and lush, showcasing deep, dark fruits, figs, and cloves. Waves of flavor lead to a brooding and persistent finish. What a wine!
